I have been a patient of Diana Aristizabal nurse practitioner at Infinity Medical Wellness in Brickel, Miami, Florida for almost 3 years. I have health conditions that cause me a lot of pain and limitations when walking. I also had such a high A1C due to type 2 diabetes that other doctors in Maryland had recommended that I start taking insulin. My weight was 216 pounds which worsened my health. From the first consultation, Diana studied my medical records, interviewed and examined me very friendly and professionally. He made the necessary changes in the medications, recommended that I make changes in diet, take walks and stretch. In less than 7 months I lost 60 pounds, my A1C returned to normal without injecting insulin, and my glucose remains normal with medication once a week. He manages my pain treatment and refers me to the best specialists and therapies, drastically reducing the medications I was previously taking. Since the flu, my annual checkups and my general health, Diana Aristizabal is in charge of my care and has my complete trust. She is an excellent healthcare professional who is dedicated, compassionate, understanding and a great friend. I recommend her 100% because today I take less medication, I am more active and alert, I have lost weight and my health is in the best hands, the hands of Diana Aristizabal. With the help I needed with school forms and general primary care, the personalized care and time that I received is not comparable to what you would get at a regular office. I started out with Dr. Diana for primary care and after my first visit with her I truly felt like i could trust her so I started opening up to her about my insecurities with my weight.
